Pecan Pie

350 oven unbaked, regular size pie crust (not deep dish)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbs flour
- 2 tbs melted butter
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1 cup (or more) chopped pecans - enough to generously cover the bottom of the crust
- pinch of salt
Beat eggs thoroughly. Add salt and vanilla and beat a little more. Mix brown sugar and flour and add along with Karo and butter. Beat until well mixed. Put chopped pecans in piecrust and pour syrupy mixture over them. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour until the center is set.
